Safety

Safety at parks and in the pack

PawPack helps dog owners coordinate community activity, but every park visit and missing-dog search still needs local judgment and real-world care.

Dog park visits

Follow posted park rules, leash requirements, vaccination guidance, and local laws. Watch your dog at all times, leave if a situation feels unsafe, and contact park staff or local authorities for urgent issues.

Meeting people from the community

Meet in public places, trust your judgment, and avoid sharing private information until you are comfortable. PawPack does not screen every community member or guarantee another user's behavior.

Missing-dog cases

Missing-dog maps and sighting tools are community coordination aids, not emergency services. If a dog or person is in immediate danger, call local emergency services, animal control, or the appropriate local authority.

Reporting safety concerns

Report unsafe content, harassment, fake missing-dog reports, or dangerous park information by emailing support@pawpack.app. Include links, screenshots, location details, and any time-sensitive context when available.

Community standards

PawPack can remove content, limit features, or restrict accounts when safety or community standards are violated. See the Community Guidelines for moderation rules.
